making your mark winter 2018 more details coming soon! services & projects these are the services and projects that we're currently running some of our services are scheduled on certain days and at certain times whilst others are available at any time. counselling on a one to one basis without the need for a gp referral. ex-forces personnel are always welcome to come in and seek advice or counselling. informal advocacy an advocate can speak on your behalf or support you as you speak for yourself. information services are available from our office through leaflets and books. listening ear offers a listening ear if you need someone to talk to but don’t necessarily need counselling. skilled trades people are needed to help us with a few odd jobs that we need doing in the office. nothing major, mostly running repairs. allotment group is now meeting to learn new skills and to improve our wellbeing through excercise. this service has 1 weekly session and runs on wednesday at 10:30am connecting mums supports you both inside and outside of our group. open to all mums and pre-school children. this service has 6 weekly sessions and the next session is on wednesday at 9:15am the drop-in allows you to pop in for a brew and learn about the services and activities we offer. this service has 2 weekly sessions and the next session is on friday at 11am women's group allows you to take time out for a chat and a relaxing brew in a friendly environment. this service has 1 weekly session and runs on tuesday at 11:30am ...don’t forget about our diary containing all our events in the coming months... supporting our work how you can help us to help others in the community sponsorship we’re always looking for longer term partners who can support us in the work we do. in return we can come to your workplace and promote good mental health practices with your employees. find out more... fundraising whether you’re taking part in a sporting event, having a cake sale or a clear out with a car boot sale, there are a range of websites that you can use to donate to our cause. find out more... donations if you’d like to donate a spare £5 to our cause there are a range of ways that you can donate to our cause using your mobile, the internet or your bank. find out more... ...or donate your knowledge, skill or expertise at a day and time that works for you with time banking timebanking we can always use an extra pair of hands. we have a list of diy jobs or if you have other skills we have plenty of other volunteering opportunities whether you can offer a couple of hours or something more regular. a huge thankyou to our time bankers who have banked an amazing 137 hours so far this year. only 63 more hours to go!
